You’re booked! Welcome to Performing Under Pressure 🧠✨
Thank you for joining Performing Under Pressure: The Neuroscience & Psychology of Successful Auditions.
Your place in the workshop is confirmed, and I’m really looking forward to having you with us.
📅 Workshop Details
Date: Sunday, 22 November 2026
Time: 7:00 PM (UK/London time)
Location: Live online via Zoom
Auditions can make even experienced dancers feel as though their bodies and brains suddenly stop cooperating. During this workshop, we’ll explore why that happens — and what you can actually do about it.
We’ll look at the neuroscience and psychology of performance anxiety, including how stress affects memory, coordination, attention and decision-making. We’ll also explore perfectionism, confidence, self-criticism, nervous-system regulation and practical psychological strategies for performing under pressure.
Most importantly, you’ll leave with tools you can apply directly before and during auditions, performances and other high-pressure situations.

I’m looking forward to helping you understand what happens to your brain and body under pressure — and how you can use that knowledge to approach auditions with greater confidence, focus and composure.
